INTRA-WEB VIEW

One of the most vulnerable components of the GCOS is each port’s internal processing and storage systems. Most are not adequately protected by three tiered systems and nor are they EMI shielded. This intra-web should also have meteorological sensoring data as well as oceanographic detection/ warning devices incorporated as integral components of a safe and compliant port. See ISPS Code SOLAS 1974 Parts A &B, et seq.

Each of the customers for any maritime port must have IMO accessible records on file within the ports certifiable archives to assure supply chain custodian responsibilities are being met. These records must be keep by the port for 24 months in order to trace forward and trace back each container. See USA and EU Maritime Security Acts of 2002.
